AntragPlus

Methodology

How we calculate the three central AntragPlus metrics — with formula, data source, date and caveat for each figure.

Approval rate: 82%

82%

Formula

Approval rate = approved applications / (approved + rejected applications)

82% means: of N funding applications submitted via AntragPlus between a defined start and end date, X were approved. Concrete N/X values for the next reporting date will be added by Robert before launch and published on this page.

Data source & method

Analysis of the internal AntragPlus database. Only applications with status approved or rejected are counted. Pending or withdrawn applications are not included.

Caveat

The figure is based on an early customer cohort (pilot phase) and should be read as As of May 2026 — estimate based on the pilot customer cohort. The figure is updated quarterly and replaced here as soon as the sample size reaches an externally auditable level.

Time saved: 92%

92%

Formula

Time saved = 1 − (T_app / T_manual)

92% means: the average application time with AntragPlus (T_app, in hours) is 8% of the average manual application time (T_manual, in hours). Both values are measured per reference application type.

Data source & method

Self-reported by M AntragPlus customers, surveyed via structured interviews. Comparison basis: a reference application for a standard federal funding programme of medium complexity (e.g. a project application with an activity report, financing plan and impact logic).

Caveat

Self-assessment, not externally audited. The range between customers is wide (complex EU applications save less time than smaller state grants). As of May 2026 — target/estimate based on the pilot customer cohort so far; adjusted up or down as the sample grows.

Programme coverage: 12,000+

12,000+

Definition

Number of distinct funding programmes in the AntragPlus index, aggregated from federal, state, EU and foundation sources. Duplicate entries (e.g. a programme listed in several public databases at once) are merged; outdated programmes whose term has expired are excluded.

Data sources

Updates

The index is automatically updated weekly. Programmes with expired deadlines are archived, new programmes added.

Caveat

Lower bound — the actual index may exceed 12,000. We deliberately communicate the lower threshold so as not to promise fluctuating numbers. As of May 2026.
